Just took delivery of my Genesis yesterday. I am a former Lexus GS owner, who happened to have a very good ownership/lease experience, but the Genesis caught my eye on several comparisons. I test drove it head-to-head with the Lexus and was intrigued by the competence and superb package Hyundai has delivered. I ordered a tech package 4.6 and can't believe what I got for $40k. I saved over $10k and I'm convinced it is every bit as good or better than the GS. Certainly the Lexicon system I have is superior to the Levinson in the GS. Very please and heading to the Northeast this weekend. Will keep you posted.

I went in and drove one the other day, as long as the quality holds up, it will be an awesome car to own. powerful, responsive, handled well, all in all a good package.

You're the moron if all you think of is the badge (you probably think Bose is the "bomb" for audio systems).

Lexus was "just" Toyota in Japan til a few years ago.

The Acura TSX in the US is just the European/Japanese Accord.

The Genesis is sold as a separate brand in Korea and China (Hyundai didn't think it was worth the billion+ investment to build a new dealer network in the US just yet).

According to some 30+ reviews, the Genesis is the equal of cars $12-25k more expensive.

Saving thousands seems pretty smart to me.

Hyundai makes great cars these days, just as well built and reliable as Toyota or Honda.

Not to mention that the Genesis is beating the MKS in professional reviews.

"Lincoln has a winner in terms of looks outside and comfort inside, along with a slick multimedia system. Still, that's not enough to triumph over the Genesis, which is a BETTER car overall."

It seems MKS dropped more $$ on an INFERIOR auto - lol!

Last month I renewed my personal car, a 17 year old V8 Mustang Convertible. The wife gets a new car when she wants one and is still on her 2005 Benz. The Genesis has a lot to like in a car but an article by a leading UAW official related his experience visiting Korea. In that 7 day visit he didn't see 7 U.S. made cars. That being, I bought a CPO Benz. At least Benz has a nice sized plant and employee base in Vance, Alabama. The Grand Marquis I shopped was built outside of the United
States.

Uhh, Hyundai isn't Japanese you MORON.

And according to Autobild - THE SOURCE for auto reliability in GERMANY, Hyundai places fifth.

That's AHEAD of Audi, BMW and Mercedes.

Btw, Mercedes also makes "cheap" subcompacts as well such as the A and B class which are hardly luxury vehicles - lol! ignoramus!

Hyunday is South Korean biggest automaker. Hyunday's engineers are working hard to develop their technology to build better cars. So someday Hyunday cars maybe beat other automakers' automobiles such as Japaneses and Germans'.

Daily Horoscope for December 28

Capricorn

This is a marvellous day for having a discreet word in someone's ear. You'll be able to choose your words carefully, making you very tactful and considerate, and as a result you will have a helpful conversation. This is also a good opportunity to talk about topics that are very dear to your heart, or which are usually too private to mention.
