I wish they would stay out of our public schools. You know that old thing about church and state. How about passing out a Koran, or a satan book?

Although most of the founders wer christian, the morals are universal. Men (and women)from many faiths have died protecting this country and it's belief in freedom of religion. Jesus has no place in public school, that is what church is for.

Morals are not universal. Different cultures have very different morals. Besides, it is at a Christian school, right? Don't they have freedom of religion? They are making a choice to go there, it is not forced on them, right?
Why does that bother you God-hating liberals?
Churches of all denominations do more for the poor, homeless, hurricane victim, etc than all of the stinking liberal writing to blogs, and letters to the editor. Yet they do nothing but condemn them as close minded right wingers.
Give me a break!

That's the problem.People think Jesus should be confined to a building. When we carry Him in our hearts everywhere we go,there would be less hatered and more peace.Altho,it's not going to happen. He has to purify this earth by fire to clean up filthy messes that us people have made. BIBLE'S NOT CONDOMS...... YEA'Our opinions is where were at today.Like where your at?Pack Jesus in your heart and see a new way of life.

Yes, the children in this story should be able to get their bibles and practice whatever religion they wish. I am neither G-d hating nor liberal(nor christian for that matter). I was referring to the post, not the original article.

Don't need Jesus, just G-d. Life is good, thanks for your concern.

Yeah, I do know ... and too often it is used ignorantly. There is nothing, absolutely nothing in the constitution or amendments that says separation of church and state ...

"The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States." Section 2, Article 6. Seems like speration to me.

Condoms are okay but not religious pieces? I thought condoms don't force them to have sex but are there to support them if they choose to. Can't religious documents be handed out in a similar context…they don’t have to support a religion but it will help them if they do decide to make that choice? Don’t give me the ‘other’ religions junk either. It would be enlightening if it where from any religion outside of Christianity but just because it comes from the right, it is bad. Politics are a joke in this country…why is ‘your’ side always right. Both need to take a hike for true advancement in this country.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Pisces

Mercury's retro phase in Capricorn will raise questions in your mind about a friend or loved one during the next two weeks. You might wonder what they're playing at and have to ask them to be straight with you, or you could work hard at overcoming the current problems between you so you're able to enter a much more positive phase in your relationship.
