Hooray for Honda producing much of this car in Ohio! ...too bad the design has the majority of people hiding in fear or disgusted. They need some new designers at Honda of America. The current Civic and (more so) the Crosstour are hideous looking. Makes me think they want a place on the "10 ugliest cars" list next to a Pontiac Aztec. If they wanted a crossover car, they should have brought back a version of the Accord wagon instead.

Honda vehicles are so "OVERPRICED" that I am surprised that they are still in business! Most working people, and especially those with families, cannot afford these vehicles! And, I believe that Chevys, Fords and Dodges are more affordable, and their quality is just as good!

The crosstour is one funny-looking car. Looks like a retro 40s thing with an enourmous grill. Between this and the ridgeline, I think Honda may need to upgrade its design team.

People need to realize that GM and Chrysler arent as much american any more ok so some of the componants are made in the states. Look at the Chevy Avalanche its made in Mexico. Honda and Toyota have more vehicals assembled here than GM and Chrysler.

Have you driven a chevy lately? have you driven a chrysler? they are junk built like junk run like junk. ford is getting better i will not go to another GM car again too many failures no quality control. Honda and Toyota have much more stringent quality control making the vehicals better. look at it this way GM, Ford, Chrysler if they can offer such steep discounts that means that they were over priced to begin with. It is all a marketing scheem. Its a numbers game they all have special buys and claim backs from the manufacturer the only succers are those who buy one such as yourself. Toyotas and Hondas are the best.

True, I think most people don't mind a little art in their pocket but they don't want to drive art to work. Honda should move its design team to Detroit and learn how to build some sexy American steel. One thing you gotta hand it to the US companies, they know how to make a sexy car. The Mustang, the Pontiac Solstice, the Dodge Viper, The 'vette, The Challenger, all nice looking vehicles.

Toyotas and Hondas are the best. Your clueless. Even Honda stated that "no one is making junk" anymore. The question is have you driven an American based companies car's lately? Probably not. Do you think all those technicians at the Honda and Toyota dealership service departments just stand around and do nothing all day? The hype is from people like you. You make yourself feel good about your Toyota/Honda purchase by telling everyone it was made in the states. Most Toyota's/Honda's are not made in the states. The most popular sellers such as the Accord,Civic,Camry and so one are built here. Some are only produced here because they only sell them here, Tundra, Sequoia, Avalon. Toyota's are produced all over the world in place such as Russia, India, Canada, Mexico, Poland and even places like Iran. Does that make it an Iranian company too?? It does not matter if a Honda is built in your back yard and a Chevy is built in Mexico. Honda is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan and Chevy (GM) is headquartered in Detroit, USA. So your stupid comment makes no sense, Honda/Toyota are foreign companies that operate in the United States not because they care about putting Americans to work, it's because it is cheaper to build the cars they sell here on our soil. They also realize that Japan is not much bigger then California and have no room for new plants, so they build new plants elsewhere. Oh yea and don't forget the auto unions in Japan that they have to deal with (sound familiar). Toyota hybrid technology and the homely Prius were largley developed with help of the Japanese goverment. Look it up.The Crosstour will sell, same people that buy Ridgelines/bloated Accords will love them because of the emblem on the grille. Honda's/Toyota's are the perfect car for the non car guy.

People dislike their grills so much there is now a busy afermarket industry for custom replacement grills for some models. What do you think the custom grills look like? To me they look like American sports car grills.
