I'm just wondering if anyone out there has any information on the 2007 Honda Odyssey. I'm just wondering if there are any design changes..and I'm also curious to know if the 2007 will be available with all-wheel drive. I've been surfing the web and nothing is posted I'm just wondering if anyone knows of a web-site I can check out. Thanks.

hi milly, just wondering if you found out any info about the 2007. i, too, would like to know about all wheel drive for the 2007.

I was looking at a 2006 AWD Toyota van but gave up on that idea after reading about all the trouble buyers are having with the Run Flat tires that come on them. I'm hoping Honda will come out with the AWD van in 2007

||||
I heard it's going to be a bit longer, that's all I know. did you learn anything else? Thanks-- |
||||
No, the only thing I heard is that Honda makes changes to the vehicles design every 4 years..I don't know if that means just the outside or inside too. They should consider AWD for next year because Toyota has a minivan that has AWD and so does Saturn. |

I found this information online. doesn't answer the awd question though.
2007 Odyssey - 01/30/06 Honda typically keeps models mainly unchanged until the 4th year in the production cycle so 2008 is when the Odyssey should see a model refresh. For 2007 however, you might see a few extremely minor adjustments along with a color change or two. |

I'm also searching for '07 or '08 info for Ody's or Pilot. I'm hoping for Bluetooth So far no info.
Here are some sites I use: http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/FVDP/Typ... http://www.hondapreview.com/odyssey/ http://www.odyclub.com/forums/ |

The site from two posts up now has updated the info. It names the two possible color options.
http://www.hondapreview.com/odyssey/ 2007 Odyssey - 04/12/06 Honda typically keeps models mainly unchanged until the 4th year in the production cycle so 2008 is when the Odyssey should see a model refresh. For 2007 however you will see a couple of new colors including Dark Cherry Pearl and Nimbus Gray Metallic. |

I am glad to see that I am not the only one looking for an AWD Odyssey.
I do not want to get a toyota. Does any one know any thing about a AWD for 2007? |

With the hybrid trend heating up, that's what I would like to buy. An Odyssey (again) but with hybrid engine. Any clues about that ? I know Toyota had (has?) a hybrid minivan out in Japan for a few years (called Estima) but that did not make it out of Japan. My hope is that Honda will have the wisdom to go for mileage improvement instead of the GM (dead end, if you ask me) way of keeping big power and saving some gas. New Camry (and Saturn, I must admit) is an indication that common sense may prevail. Quastion is how quickly Honda steps in to capture the faithful minivan crowd
Any thoughts ? Bert |

Hi, Does anyone know for 2007 if you can get regular tires on the Touring? That is the only thing that is keeping me from buying one!
Thanks! |
|||
Agreed, drop the runflat tires (make 'em an option) I don't want to be locked into them. That, or, include the power rear hatch on EX/EXL model. Also, MP3 features (from CD or DVD) would be nice to include. I'm holding out until 2007 info is released for the above reasons. May wait until 2008 even. |

well the last version of the Ody lasted 6 years and was still tops before the redesign so I expect 4-6 years of this style...

You will not see any design changes in the Odyssey until the 2009 model year at the earliest. Honda keeps their platform for a minimum 4 years and on a winner like the Odyssey they usually like to keep the same tooling in place for one extra year as they did on the old body style (1999,2000,2001,2002,2003,2004 ). We are currently only in year two of the new body style so don't hold your breath for any radical restyling in the next couple of years. Not sure on the AWD front. |

We have a 2003 Odyssey and we are very happy with it. I hope they fix the following in 2007:
1. Road Noise. You cannot talk in cell phone if you are driving a Honda 2. Provide MP3 support and a decent sounding stereo. 3. Improve gas mileage. If the road noise does not go down in 2007 model, we will go with Sienna, the quiet van |
||||
|
2003 is a totally different car than a 2004 or 2005. I have driven both and the noise level has decrease; however, not as quiet as the current Sienna. The trade off, though, is handling. 2004-current Odyssey drives like a big sedan; the current Sienna drives like a van.

Does anyone know if Honda will remove the "sliding door track" from the 2007 model year? Will Honda incorporate the track into the rear window assembly like the Toyota Sienna and the Chrysler minivans?
|
||||
|
30 is all it is getting honda has been doing 28 for a few yrs now with its optional engine starting at 32k why are you waiting for a hybrid to pay extra funds?
