I HAVE BEEN IN THE CAR BUSINESS FOR OVER 30 YEARS AND I FOUND THAT THE BEST BUY IN USED VEHICLES THIS LAST 5 YEARS, WAS DODGE AND CHRYSLER PRODUCTS ESPECIALY THE 2 & 2.4L VEHICLES. THE LOW UPKEEP AND THE BEST MILEAGE FOR SEBRING AND CALIBER & SUCH. THE 2007 CALIBER IS USED IN MANY CITIES AS DELIVERY VEHICLES WITH LITTLE OR NO TROUBLE IN 150,000 TO 200,00 Kms COMPARED TO THE PRICE YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR JAPANIES VEHICLES AND THE EXPENSE OF THEIR PARTS & SERVICE, I STICK WITH SALES OF DODGE & CHRYSLER FOR MY INVENTORY FOR BEST VALUE AND MY CUSTOMERS WOULD SAY THE SAME.

That post pught to have been made forty-five years ago, in which case it would have been accurate.

Typing everything in capital letters does not prevent its being totally untrue. Hard to guess the reasons other than some kind of dementia.

Ducky,
I think that you've obviously fallen and bumped your head. I, for several years, was a GM man. All I would buy was Chevrolet. I bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee a few years ago - and have never been more disappointed in a vehicle. So many problems! I've also done some extensive research and have come to the conclusion that I will never buy anything other than TOYOTA or HONDA for the rest of my life! I have a Toyota Tacoma Doublecab 4WD Sport package. I love this truck. A buddy of mine bought the 2008 Dodge Dakota. You could not pay me to buy that piece of junk. I'm simply not impressed with anything about it, ecspecially the look of the ugly thing and the horrible resale value. He hates this truck too - bought it because they were offering crazy savings on it. Now he wants to trade it in on a Tacoma as well (should've listened to me up front). Problem is, he's BURRIED!!!! He is so upside down, it's sad. I also know a guy that bought a Dogde RAM - fully loaded - for like $37K ($43,000 truck). Tried to trade it 8 months later and found out it brings a trade value of $16,500?!!! WOW!! PEOPLE - DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS GUY - STAY AWAY FROM CHRYSLER/DODGE!! THEY ARE GOING UNDER - SINKING LIKE A ROCK - MODERN DAY TITANIC!!!

People love their Japanese vehicles until they need a repair, which they sometimes do, despite the perfection propaganda. Expensive! As for the Prius, they have been having some steering system failures.$3,000.00 repair! Anybody doesn't think so, just do some research. Also, when Toyota has recalls, they usually call it a "service opportunity". LOL!

At Least Toyota tells you there's a problem ! With Chrysler it s only after the government forces them to! How about all those bad evaporator coils on the 2000 to 2001 Chrysler jeeps, dodge rams & town & country mini vans, you didn't have any recall on that shit now did you? Average repair bill $1000.00.

I don't know. That may be true. Chrysler has certainly had their share of recalls, but they don't call them "service opportunities". Everybody knows Chrysler products aren't perfect. All I'm saying is that foreign vehicles are not as "perfect" as we're constantly being told. Everybody knows

Not to mention puny rear axles. ditto for titan. Tacomas are pretty decent. Full size Japanese trucks are basically just for people who drive a Camry and want a "truck".

Typical robot response from type of person who knows nothing about cars. By the way, built by non union workers with lousy benefits.

Yes we are non union maybe thats why we still have a job. And the benefits are great and so are the bonuses and pay.And we don't have to pay some union to cost us our jobs. You should know with the camry being the number one selling car for years that you look really stupid trying to bad mouth it.I guess your used to looking really stupid though.

The Camry is a good appliance. Now if I want a good car with some style its not going to be a Camry thats for sure. Try this test, have a cute girl pose for some pictures in front of the Camry and you will see what I mean. Alot of old people and rental car agencies must like it though.I can't argue with that.

D-DUB, not sure why you had such problems. I'm on the 4th Jeep Grand Cherokee and the Jeep is the ONLY vehicle I've owned more than one of. I loved my 2005 and thought about keeping it, but I wasn't that fond of the color (I got a $200 gas card to take that one lol). So I got a 2008 in the Pearlstone and I don't think they are getting this one back. I absolutely LOVE it. It also helps that it has better options and yet costs me $30 less a month lol. Gotta love those Hemis....

I was looking at the Durango,JGC or the 300c with a HEMI,That is one heck of an engine!
but im parcial to the Tahoe,Yukon as well.
i live in an area with tons of Jeep,Chr.Dodge,Chevy and i ask alot of questions to alot of folks who ACTUALLY OWN THESE VEHICLES not Consumer Reports who own it for a short time, and picks cars run on rice because of advertising or whatever angle they have.
Real people and almost all of them LOVE thier JGC,Durango and 300c,Love their Hemi engine,so enjoy yours! Thanks for supporting America!

Eric..the Durango is being eliminated...so it would depend on your lifestyle. Do you want a car or an suv? Like I said..Have have JGC with a Hemi and I LOVE it. My team leader, who owned a Mercedes, got his JGC several months ago and he's so impressed with it. He told me he was not sure about going with it, but now that he has it...he's never going to buy another Mercedes. He actually thinks the quality and ride is much better. We are both devout Jeep lovers..hope that helps :)

ive heard Dodge will eliminate some models as they have Challenger/Charger
liberty/patriot

dodge and chrysler have to many models alike and one is taking sales from another.
Durango is the victim of the enviro.idiots and the folks who look down on folks for needing 4 wheel drive and the gas millage losers who condemn folks without looking at facts.
Jeeps are very loyal owners for a reason!
so now its a 300c or a JGC with a hemi
cool part is alot more Horsepower, but, with the shutoff system the Hemi gets better milage then the 4.7 does in the JGC.
