Good Question: Should You Trade-In Your SUV?
On Tuesday, General Motors announced its closing four plants that make trucks and SUVs, and the company may get rid of the Hummer.
The head of GM said the shift towards smaller vehicles is more than just a blip. In May, cars outsold trucks in this country for the first time in 15 years. With skyrocketing gasoline prices some are wondering is it time to get rid of your SUV?
"The last time I filled this thing up, it cost me almost $75. I think like a lot of people who own big trucks, I feel like I'm throwing money out the window every time I start this thing up," said WCCO's Jason DeRusha, pointing to his Ford Explorer.
