Do you have an aftermarket remote start on your car? After locking the doors with the on the door button the next time i unlocked the doors with remote key fob the alarm would go off. I took it back to the remote installer and he changed some wiring. The alarm arms 15 sec after you push the door lock control buton and the remote keylees unlock doesn't disarm it.

My 2003 Centenniel does the same thing. I have had the main controller replaced. That didn't fix it. Initially, it only happened when the temperature was below 50. Lately, it just does it. The alarm system is from the factory and does NOT have a remote start.

Well..If you alarm is the facotry (ford) alarm i can help you out.. Does the horn sound and the hazards flash? If so its a factory alarm.. It monitors the doors truck and hood if any of them are opened without using the key or remote (unauthorized entry) this sets off the alarm.

one of your sensors are bad.. and thinks the car is being opened up while the alarm is armed.. you just have to figure which one it is.. Like i said before it could be ANY door sensor or the trunk or the hood..My best bet is that the hood sensor is not being pushed down far enough by the weight of the hood and its triggering the system..(alot of fords have a very sensitive hood sensor)

This is just for the factory system..
Hope it helps ;-)
