This weekend, my truck died at an intersection during rush hour traffic. Had the radio on, so couldnt really hear any peculiar noises during the stall. Now it wont even turn over. Cop came and we tried to jump it off, to no avail. When ignition is turned, a clicking noise from the fuse box on the passenger side, nothing else. Engine is 4.0L V6,~60K miles. Truck has not seen a hard life at all, mostly interstate miles. Any ideas?

I would start with checking all the fuses (driver's door - dashboard fuse box and inside the engine compartment). Then, borrow a code reader from autozone and try to talk to PCM and read whatever codes it gives you. If the PCM doesn't wanna talk, probably, it's fried.

Thank you for the help. I had it at two mechanics, neither could fix it. Finally took it to a dealership, and they seemed to be able to fix it. Aparently the cord that connects to the PCM was coming disconnected. They unplugged/ replugged and for now it seems to be running again. Thanks for the help... spot on diagnosis.
