replaced both heads, drilled out 3 of 5 catalytic converters, replaced 1 exhaust manifold. Now the truck is burning 1 qt. of oil every 150-200 miles, also when you remove the oil fill cap with the engine running it stalls out unless you increase idling speed, but it is still running poorly.

Question is what could cause this issue of stalling?

check for any vacuum leaks also check your pcv valve, I have a 01 ranger with 433,000 on the motor never changed anything on the motor , just the oil and tune up. Still has the factory timing chain
