Even MERCEDES has better profits, and they're not worth it.
I'm sure that German cars are fine in Germany but what we get over here is either junk (Think Volkswagen, Good 'ole Adolf's pet company) or way too expensive for the average American to afford. That's not even mentioning the problem of finding someone who will work on them or the outrageous price of parts. It's only a select few people here who can actually afford a German made vehicle.

So, Honda vehciles built in Ohio, and Alabama, are not considered American Vehicles? Or the huge Toyota plant in Texas, those are not American either?
No, they're not American. The profit dollars go back to China and Japan. They don't stay in the US like the profit dollars from the big three. However, you gotta have a profit first...

I say bring back Iacocca. I wouldn't be surprised if he came back from retirement soon. I don't think it would be with Chrysler. Nor with Ford. If I see him anywhere, it would be GM.

Profits? Did someone say profits? There are profits being made by auto companies these days?

The Big 3 need to break before they can be fixed. Unfortunately, the first one to go into receivership will probably get a huge government bailout.
