Autolock feature / Door keypad code

As I bought my '97 explorer used, I cannot find information about the driver's door keypad code, I would assume this code # is located somewhere inside the vehicle, where would I find this? also the autolock feature, can this be disabled if I cannot find the code, if so, how??

The code should be in the jack compartment in the rear. You can disable the autolock with the keyless remote. Read the owners manual to see how. HTH

I was wondering where the seat belt tensioner module was on my 2002 ford explorer? I'm getting a falt code A292 (B2292). I wanted to see if it came unplugged or has a bad connection before I take it to a dealer and spend money.

The other comment about the jack compartment is correct. I just bought a used 97 also...mine was on a metal box to the right of the washer reservoir...very hard to see. Needed a flashlight and hard on the neck. But it's there...5 digits in large print.

I have a 2003 explorer and was recently locked out of the vehicle. Where is the code on my SUV???

The Code to your door keypad is located inside rear where your
jack is stored. Its kind of hard to get to but its on the module
in front of your jack on the backside on a sticker. 4 digits large
print. I had the same problem.

I bought my 2003 Ford ZX2 used and need to know the driver's door keypad code.

Fold down back seat. Open the storage compartment on the driver's side of truck. Using a flashlight, look at the whit plastic cover hidden in the compartment above the jack. There are 5 large numbers. This is your code. It does not tell you that it is. Try it and it should work. Good luck!!

Take the rear passenger seatbelt assembly apart and remove the interior side panel. On a little box there is a sticker with a 5 digit code...it was a little tricky putting back together but took only 10-15 minutes total, no special tools required
