Full story: Orlando Sentinel

We were a GM family when I was growing up, back when Americans could be roughly divided into clans according to which of the Big Three automakers they patronized.

I agree with the writer, but I think 50 billion to create a temporary jobs bank for the UAW is assinine.

Eugene, you are on the Keith Olbermann show almost every night. Would anyone give someone who is on the Rush Limbaugh show any creditability?

Who can't make a company profitable by giving them billions of dollars? Oh yeah, that didn't work the first time.

So Obama gave the union 39% ownership in the company for the $10 bullion they were owed.

So I guess the investors who hold $27 billion in GM bonds will be getting 105% of the company. That would be the same percentage the union is getting. But no, Obama wants to give them only a 10% stake in the new GM and throw in another 430 billion of our money.

That same investors Obama called speculators when the Chrysler deal went down, turned out the be teachers and police in Indiana that had their retirement invested with Chrysler.

Eugene you have no credibility. You whined and whined and whined with Keith about Bush supposedly breaking the law, but you think Obama should exert more control over these companies instead of railing him for breaking bankruptcy laws.

I wonder how much of the bail out money will end up going to the DNC for political contributions?

Good question and I wonder how much will go for the RNC after bush gave the republican bankers 700 billion and the auto industry 15 billion last December?

Daily Horoscope for December 8

Pisces

You're capable of making some very constructive and important decisions today, particularly where your relations with certain people are concerned. If you're fed up with the way someone has been treating you, you might now decide that the worm is about to turn and you're going to be much firmer about what you're prepared to put up with and what you won't tolerate.
