Epiphany for Detroit petrolhead
“This can bring about the revolution and really make us independent of foreign oil and solve all the other problems.”
GENERAL Motors vice-chairman Robert Lutz has long been considered one of Detroit's ultimate "car guys", for whom no vehicle could be big enough, powerful enough or fast enough. via The Age

Bob Lutz has been responsible for some of Detroit's finest vehicles in the past 20 years. GM's turnaround is in overdrive with an arsenal of new products he has given the green light. Ultimately he would prefer to save the best for last. I'm sure he will get the mission accomplished. The Volt will be the transportation of the future! The car czar is in the driver's seat. The Viper, Prowler, ZO6 and Camaro are worthy accomplishments, but the gold standard will be the Volt.
