The Viper will survive all right - as long as Chrysler stays in business, which is about another 1-2 years. Then adieu...

However, there have been rumors that Fiat may want to keep the Viper alive - with a Ferrari/Maserati-derived V10. Once the Viper does not have the pickup-truck motor it has now, and gets a more civilized interior, it may be a car worth looking at.
