Marchionne: Sterling Heights plant will close in 2010

Mr Fiat says Avenger and Sebring didnt meet sales goals. Hell, nobody did. 08 and 09 Market went down the tubes for everybody. Heres what I dont understand. Fiat owns only 20% of Chrysler but he's calling all the shots. Thats like a state telling the Feds how to conduct buisness.

How can you meet your expected sales number when you have no cars on the lot to sell?

Unfortunate for the shap employees we have losers at international who have the power now to keep us open. They now are mgmt, ron middlefinger needs to eliminate production at shap so he can send these cars to be built at a cheaper location and fatten his pockets before he retires afterall the uaw owns 80 percent of chrysler.

Tommy, that article was posted on Oct. 2 before the Nov. 4 Product plans announcement. Nothing is final yet. It's still a wait n see.

This IAMFEDUP2 is married to a guy that was in Chassis, I worked with Chris in BIW.

Oh and this gal's husband is in Belvidere. C.F. is in Michigan. Just talked to him the other day, I will tell him your asking about him.

No, do not know him.I have friends who have left and ones like me that are still waiting... I have only worked in BIW, but I have seen you mention where your husband has worked before we shut down.

I see. So you didn't go to Belvidere then. We're waiting also. Playing the waiting game. I wish we had signed up for the Detroit labor market and we'd already be there instead of still waiting. At the time I did not know Belvidere weather was as bad if not worse than Detroit. Where did you sign up for? Do you know how many is left in StL to be placed?

Indiana and Belv. But I did not want the temp job. I am not too far down the Indiana list now.

well I just took the buy out so that makes room for one more person.I wish you guys well as I had to abandon a sinking ship. Just hope you all dont wait to long befor you make plans in case things dont work out.

Good luck to you, too. We figured dammed if we do, damned if don't. Either way it is a gamble. But with the jobless rate and the economy we figured a job is better than no job. It is a very difficult decision.

There are over 8 million more homes in America with "underwater" mortgage's, they owe more than the home is currently worth, the strain on our economy will last alot longer until people have good paying jobs to keep the economy going, What ever happened to the theory of trickle down economics? Wheren't the top 1% more important to the economy than the middleclass, at least that's what they always said on CNBC and Fox News
