I have a 96 caravan. It all of a sudden stopped holding brake fluid. I fill it and by the next day it doesn't have enough fluid to have any brakes. Any suggestions???

If you are going to do it yourself (it wont be hard to find there will be a mess) then start looking at: Leaking at master cylinder, all brake line connections, all brake tubing above and under van, wheel cylinders (take off wheels to see this), you are going to find the leak, then repair or have a garage do it.

Some one was telling me today that there is a boot in the master cylinder that goes bad and this is a common problem... Is this true??

A boot is only a cover to allow movement, If it leaks at the master cylinder it could be a piston seal or reservoir mounting seal.

I just had the same problem with my van. We changed the wheel cylinders after I completely lost my brakes. You can get the complete kits for low expense at the local parts store. After a few hours of labor, the problem was corrected, and haven't had any problems with them since.
