The radio fuse is in the main fuse panel under the hood on the driver's side. It is a mini 20A fuse and I believe it is labeled RDO/IGN.

I have a 1998 dodge caravan. Check engine soon light keeps coming on, and occasionaly all my dash gages go dead and the abs light comes on. Sometimes the gages come back within a few minutes, somtimes a day or two. Had it put on tester today and I think my husband said the DTC code was CCN Tran. Mechanic didnt know what that was, never seen it. He reset the computer. The van runs great. Any ideas?

I have similar problem Steve has. My equalizer knobs light blinks, the stereo does not power up until maybe 30 minutes after turning AC on. It started when the weather became really hot. Given the circumstances, I suspect it has something to do with the heat or it could be the fuse?

I am hoping that I can fix it by replacing the fuse...

Alex, Did you ever figure out what the trouble was with your radio? Mine did the exact same thing last week and now won't go on at all. The only thing that happens are the blinking equalizer knobs. I even drove it for 4 hrs with the A/C on and it never solved it. The fuses have been all pulled and the battery disconnected but that all met with negative results. Let me know so I can hopefully fix mine. Thanks.

I am having the same probem. the equalizer knob on the radio are blinking and I can't eject a tape.... the cd's eject fine but do not play. The blinking goes out when I open the door, just like the radio would do if it were working. It's a 2001 caravan. any ideas????

I have a 2002 Caravan. I was trying to remove the radio to put in another one. When I was trying to remove one of the plugs in the back, the interior light shut off. Now the interior light will only work when you turn it on manually. When I start the car, the guages all move forward, and then back again. the radio is no longer working at all.

I have a 2002 dodge caravan, at times the clock goes blank or shows the wrong time, and the stereo will not keep the stations on memory or will shuffle from station to station or not work at all. If I disconnect the battery for a few hours, then reconnect, it will work fine for a short period of time. Anyone have answers?

I have a 2001 caravan and my radio's EQ lights flash as well. I went as far as calling head office and all they can tell me is replace the radio. Nobody can tell me exactly what is wrong. My fuses are all fine and nobody can tell me if there is a fuse in the actual radio. Not even the techs at dodge. At first I thought it was some kind of security thing but they only co that on higher end models so I'm told anyway.

I have a 2002 caravan with a AM/FM cassette. the radio started acting funny, so we decided to replace it. We wanted to keep a factory radio, so we bought a radio with a CD player. After learning the plugs were different, we discovered that we have an EARLY model 2002, which has 2001 specs. The radio we bought is from a LATE model 2002, with totally different specs. Someone suggested getting a ouple of harness plugs, one for each radio, and make it work that way. Someone else said it isn't possible. Is it possible to make this work, or did we throw away a healthy chunk of change.

I have a 2002 Grand Caravan. I went to put the radio on today and it didn't work. I have had it linked to Sirius for two years now and have not had any problems. I also noticed that one of the two power outlets isn't getting any juice. I looked at the fuses in the Integrated Power Module under the hood, but I'm not sure which fuse controls the radio. Does anyone know which one it is, or do I have to get dealer service?
Thanks.

Does anyone know if a 2006 factory dodge ram radio/cd player will work in a 2002 dodge ram?
Does anyone know if it will play mp3's?

Hi. We have a 1997 Dodge Caravan that recently needed a battery replacement. The problem is that when the old battery was unhooked, the radio apparently reset itself into some "theft protection" mode where it sensed the power failure and disabled itself (as if it's been stolen). Now that the new battery is in place, radio won't work. I was told we need to go to a dealership to have it reset, but i'm hoping someone online knows another way. Thanks in advance!

I have the same problem with the equalizer lights blinking. The radio will continue to operate until shut off or truck (2001 Dakota)is shut off. when the outside temperature cools down the interior of the truck to approx. 40 degrees fahrenheit when the radio will start up again. Does this radio have a seperate power-up circuit? HELP

I have a 2000 Dodge intrepid.
I had a problem where my right speakers became really quiet. I guessed the right channel was blown on the radio, but still worked. The battery ran down while in the shop (getting an alignment and they had to have the key in ignition to turn the wheel) and they jumped the battery. My radio did not worked at all after that and the equalizer buttons would constantly flash. I wasn't sure if it was the radio itself or something shorted it out or if the the speakers were ok or not. Never sounded good from day one, though. Not much bass. Anyway, just had a new clarion installed and everything works great! The factory one is just a crappy radio. You probably need a new one.

How did you unlock your radio? I went to the dealer
and the only thing they said to do was to disconnect
the neg. battery cable for 20 seconds and that will reboot the computer. Didn't work for my radio. Bought a new radio as said before. Maybe I just needed to unlock it.
