Has anyone heard anything about retro pay for tier 2?

There's something about it on the uaw site, but just bits and pieces.

do you remember what it is under, i would like to find it?

They are trying to get back pay for some tier 2 workers not sure for when to when timeframe

I've heard this too. The timeframe is from after probation (depending on when/where/how you got hired, could have had a probation period from 90-120 days) to.... now.

We'll see what happens, but I am not getting my hopes up.

It's in the contract. Kinda hard to avoid that.

so who exactly or the t2s they are trying to get retro pay for? Also, the t2s that were the long time tpts like myself that have actually been with the company since 2005 or longer were hired on at the top of the second tier payscale at 16.28, will we just go to the 16.66 since they gave us 8/2/10 seniorty or will we be given the new top of 19.28/

I would have to assume it would be ALL Tier 2. With that seniority date I believe you're only going up to $16.66. Yup, gotta wait another couple of years for the "big pay". I know I'm going to sound like an asshole, but it WAS laid out for you in the contract highlights.

You will go to 16.66. Also if your at 16.25 there will be no retro pay since you have been making top T2 wage since you where hired.

That's cool, its kind of what I figured anyway. Wasn't expecting any retro pay since had not heard anything until I seen the thing here about it
