With all these 3rd shifts additions the company and union will bring in more 2 tier workers which will force the 1 tier workers to take a pay cut down to $22 an hour in 2015.

If all those 2tiers are still employed come contract time in 2015... think about it 3 years of sales that require 3 shifts at most assembly plants. the profits that would be made would be outstanding. and if the company is making that much money why would anyone vote to lower wages? even with all the tier 2's their will still be more tier 1's.

I got news for ya.... Chrysler is regretting hiring all you tier 2 people because you're all a bunch of losers. SHAP is experiencing a 70% turnover rate with new hires ( was told that by a union official ). Tier 1 people come to work, plan and simple.

yeah with tier 1 back in the day, im sure it was the same shit. theres always a turnover rate in machining in any type of manufacturing company. i don't know why your bitching about it, there is no point your just scared for your job. and tier 1 come to work what a laugh i know so many tier one that are on fmla and so on only going into work 2 days a week. its the same on all sides

im going to be a tier 2 employee i am sorry to burst your bubble but i am not lazy and i goto work. assembly work is monkey work its nothing to be all bitching about your basically bitching because you make good money doing non-skilled work.

i am young btw. by the time i was 20 i had owned my own small business that was pretty successful for a time, untill the economy took a shit, i have worked 3 years in SKILLED TRADES as a cnc machinist working with over 10 different types of metal ( molds, extrusions, FIXTURE MAKING FOR CHRYSLER, parts from .5 ounces to 10 tons). also i have 4 years of management experience BY THE AGE OF 20 so its not tier 2 specifically its the people. i dont get all the bitching about tier 2 tier 1 who gives a flying fuck. its a job there hiring quit your bitching

last job paid 11 an hour with a pay raise up to 19 in 2 years. worked 56-65 hours a week avg.

sorry but chrysler pays more and has better benefits. thats why i'm switching to that work. better benefits less hours and i can go to school at the same time.

Doesn't everyone realize that tier 2's are the best thing to ever happen to tier 1? Without them, fiat doesn't even look to partner up with Chrysler. Chrysler goes under, tier 1's don't even have a job.

Ok, let's just say fiat was dumb enough to partner up with Chrysler with everyone making tier 1 wages. Well, you can forget profit sharing. Extra money for new products? Well that is reduced significantly. Chrysler doesn't look like a strong company since it won't be making much money. Tier 2's wage is such a significant reason in the resurgence of Chrysler. Don't forget their lack of insurance too, that can cant be dismissed as well.

By the wa, I'm a 16yr tier 1 worker. Our pay will defintinely go down in the next contract, that's for sure.$22 sounds about right. Tier 1 will get bonuses over the course of the contract to offset the loss in wages.

Coming from a guy that is making tier 2 wages for about 3 plus years now.. you are an idiot. And exactly what scares me about new people.

You have to think big picture.

Don't vote down top pay because it will never go back up, if you do. When something is gone from our contracts, its gone. Good luck getting it back.

So basically what I'm saying is, if you vote for 22/hr, that's where you will stay. We need to stick together and require Chrysler to pay every member top pay. Or at least be able to get there after a few years, and deserve it.

The union brass will try to scare you into thinking that if you don't vote this through, your plant will close and you will lose your job or have to relocate. Don't buy it.

they will never get the chance to vote down top tier pay. International won't give them that option, the tier 2 people are so stupid, p.s. top tier people would kill you tier two faggots if you ever would vote against tier one, just saying, I'd kill a few of you for fun myself
I'm glad you have faith in International. You are in the minority.

Ps.. bring a weapon, toughguy.

They weren't looking to lower tier 1. Sergio wanted to freeze the employees making 28 per hour and going forward having a max of 22 for the new hires and do away with the, 25 percent cap of tier 2

So you think all you will have to do is say cut T1 pay & the union will jump & do it for you because you say so??? What are you smoking pass it around for all of us. If the union did what YOU wanted YOU WOULD BE AT T1 PAY RIGHT NOW.

I'm fine we're I'm at, you can take a cut, I won't, I'll except a pay freeze and take profit sharing and bonus money but a pay cut, not gonna happen without a huge buy down, then we can talk, but a pay cut without a buy down, I guarantee I will make Chrysler pay millions upon millions in lost production, you little people in assembly plants don't know what kind of power job setters have, just saying, let the games begin, but remember, don't believe the hype about a pay cut, p.s. don't you tier 2 losers understand when you get to 25%, you get a pay raise to over $28/hour, at least the first ones hired, idiots
Accept(not except, lmao) of course you will, because that is what you already have. We won't get a pay increase even in 2015. We won't get one until tier 2 has caught up with us. I know I have seen my friends get raises, and it is to the point they are making almost as much money as I, and their company treats they like a person. Chrysler used to be a great place to work, now it is terrible!

Now why would we want our Tier 1 brothers and sisters to make only $22.00 an hour after they have slaved and sweated on the lines for over 13 years plus. Now us Tier 2s have only been on the lines for over 5 years some less. But in 2015 if they drop the tier 1 wages, they will possibly go on strike for the new contract. We do not want the tier 1s wages to drop. That means the tier 1s' will not get a raise. Lets be logical. Also that is what the Sergio wants, to divide the union. I can't wait to see what happens in 2015.
