If we tier 2 stick together we can vote down tier 1 and vote up tier 2 wages. In 2015 we will be the majority and we have bargaining power to get a raise. $22 is awesome more then what I made at the fast food I worked before. Tier 1 is just plain greedy

And you call this place a union? Let the bickering begin. I say bring the wage down to $15 per hour across the board. These jobs are not skilled! Chrysler and FIAT should not be bullied by an unskilled Union.

WE'RE being greedy? You KNEW what you were going to make when you signed on to work for Chrysler. Now you want to penalized those that have put in years and years? Go ahead, vote us down (not that you have enough T2 to make it happen)..and then you can complain about how you want more than $22/hr and how YOU voted yourself outta coming up to Tier 1 status. smh

BTW, guess what? We didn't walk in the door making $28/hr either. We started at the "starting wage" and worked our way up. What makes you think you're deserving of top pay after a year or so?

Okay, I've ignored you for the most part, but this is it. STOP taking out your bitterness because you took the buyout on those that still work for Chrysler. You made your decision...live with it. We were all "low seniority" at one time. It's our job now to educate them, not call them names. I'm ashamed to call you a fellow union worker. SHAME on you!

You should all be ashamed the way you are acting. I myself have been working there over 18 years and was not happy with tier 2 starting at 15 an hour. But however I started low like many others. It took me over 3 years at the time to make full scale. Alot of things were different then. Tier 2 should think about what they are saying about wanting us to make less. If the shoe was on the other foot, you would not being saying these kind of things. Be careful what you wish for. Just be grateful you are making the money that you recieve. If you ever lost this job for whatever reason, and had to then take less. You might say or think differently

Why should tier 1 have to take a pay cut? They have put in their time. I do however find it complete bs that someone doing the same job as me is making more than what i cap out at. The tiered system needs to go away. All it does is divide the union and make us weaker. In 2015 the focus needs top be just that. Bringing everyone onto the same pay and benefit scale. Everyone should get a raise, but more importantly t take the steps toward becoming one group instead of two. Ever heard of divide and conquer? That's what is happening.

yep that is exactly what is happening i think its funny to because most of the new hires. like my self have family that is tier 1, my entire family is tier 1 for the most part i think its stupid your going to vote to get your own families wages reduced. also if they do cut pay from 28 to 22 that would be the biggest pay cut in history. to me they should just start the new hires out at 14-16 and then every 6 months give them a raise from .25 to .50 untill they hit tier one cap after about 10 years or so seems fair enough for me that way.

Under the current Chrysler UAW contract there is no cap to teir 2 workers that will have to be negotiated in 2015 but since it's in this contract then the teir 2's that are hired between now n then will have a say in the contract

Been at Chrysler over 18 yrs and how am I greedy for making a living . I hired in at 12.63 and took three yrs to get to full scale. We tier 1 employees have been through three owners our benefits cut and a bankruptcy. What have you been through with this company ? Not a damn thing so if you don't like it quit. And by the way the auto industry runs in cycles so save your money. When it slows down and it will your low seniority ass will be on the street begging for your fast food job back.
