Hi, can anybody help with this query?
During the recent snows and bad weather, my windscreen washers froze up. Since the thaw, the front is working perfectly again, but the rear is not - the wiper blade is moving etc, just no water being pumped to the rear - when you press the wash/wipe button inside the car, you can hear a motor working which I assume is the washer pump?

Any ideas of how to remedy this problem, anyone?

Regards

Ray Stanley.

washer motor probably gone, behind splash guard on off side wheel arch take off little plastic push buttons and you'll se front and rear motors next to each other.

god luck

I've got the same problem. Press rear wash button, rear wiper wipes, sound of pump from off-side front wheel area, but no fluid at rear screen.
Topped the bottle right up, and when I power the rear washer the washer fluid level goes down, but I've no idea where it's going!
Anybody got any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks,

Andy

Check the tube under the carpet in the boot on the right. The check valve is there and easily leaks due to rubbing against the metal floor. You will find the boot being very wet underneath the carpet.

Such a top tip. I knew the pump was making a noise, I knew there was no water coming out of the rear washer. I had not connected the wet boot carpet with either of those things. So easily fixed!!
