Every summer I took to the dealer Russ Darrow in Madison, Wisconsin, this Bernie Sherwood, the service manager, would tell that the Freon is low and it needs refilling. After refilling it for a couple of years, I finally confronted him and Chrysler and told the problem needs a fix as I have a toddler and an infant on the way. Patrick Bulger the manager at Russ Darrow told me I quote "he couldn't careless about my kids." Chrysler ordered that I pay $100 for diagnosis. This May, 2007, after my warranty expired Chrysler and Russ Darrow diagnosed the problem to be the failure of Evaporator Coil due to plant material. Before this happened this Bernie Sherwood guy told me that animals were blocking air intake. He and his manager Patrick Bulger concocted these stories about how this is my problem and I am out of warranty. Then I called and I spoke to Tiffny and Candice in East Tennessee customer service office told about the history of the vehicle. Brand new vehicle had defective Evaporator coil and no action was taken by Chrysler and Russ Darrow. I frankly think is a much bigger problem than I am lead to believe. There are many Pacificas that have these Evaporator Coil problems. I think Chrysler needs to recall these vehicles or this might result in a class action law suit. This figh has just began today for me with Chrysler. pin hole leak mounting bracket common problem evaporators defective and the know it

I agree. My evaporator just went out and i have a child and a wife who are allergic to heat! I live In florida. If a class action suit is filed, im there for the long run. My mechanic tells me that this has been an ongoing problem and that it cost 800 dollars for me to fix. I dont have that kind of money.

Does anyone know if the replacement instructions are good for a 94 Grand Caravan. My core lasted a long time but it is dead now.
If the instructions apply, I would like to request them. Also, a big thanks to Johnny B. for supplying them.
