I have a Chrysler 300 M 2001..I'm having trouble starting it at times it will crank and crank and won't start I try again and it cranks some more and then finally starts it sounds flooded to me and then I smell gas it seems to be getting worse. I took it to the dealer ship and they replaced the fuel senor but it hasn't help, I have taken back 3 times with no help...any ideas?

I had the same problem with my 300M. It has only happened twice. It took about 30 minutes to start. It would be really embarrassing if I was out on a date :-)

I have it in the shop again.....I just wish they could find out what is causing this problem if I find out I will let you know...

I got my car back it seemed to be the fuel injectors they were clogged..so I put in some fuel injector cleaner TECHRON you can get it at any chevron station...the 1st tank I put in 2 bottles and the 2nd tank I put in one I drove from Vegas and back to Utah with no problems...

just to let you know it was the fuel injectors..got the bad ones replaced all is fine now

My 2001 300m will not start periodically and will stop when I am driving and come to a stop. I havve no power what so ever. Anyone else heard anything like this?

Sounds like spark plugs to me.
