It was probley stock. I KNOW I would rip you up with my LS. Your GAY....I mean GT would be done.

OH Please !!! Your so full of $hit pal. You dont even know what my Mustang Gt can do. And who said my Mustang was stock ?? No 4 cyc turbo cobalt will touch my Stang. When your POS rubberband import GM garbage can do high 11s mid 12s then talk to me. The Cobalt Turbo is not fast at all, cant even do 14 flat unless you pound the hell out of it with a GOOD driver. |
||||
\ LOL LS Cobalt ..Lucky if you break 17s with that 2.2 junk ecocrap motor. Smoke some more crack pal |

Cobalt boys here head over to Localcobalt.net we can show you how to make your Cobalt look sound and perform amazing.
As for cobaltssuck true you killed this Cobalt SS/TC. I am really interested in what you put into your 99 GT? Sounds like you've done some real modifications to your car. |
||||
Yes I killed the Cobalt SS\TC. I even beat one up at the track. As far as my Mods go. Cams work (x2), Bolt on Vortec SC 10 psi ,75mm throttle body,Trick flow Plenium , Head work (ported),4:10 gears , Offroad H pipe and flowmaster 45s , 5 programed tunes My next mod will be to stroke it to a 5.0 ltr So yes , No Cobalt ss\tc has touch my Stang when they want to step up. And that assclown smoked08 doesnt know what hes talking about that I can see. Typical teenbooper who thinks Cobalts are fast, They maybe be quick but not fast. And I know he full of crap saying his cobalt will do 13s with him driving when reveiws show the cobalt TC to be a 14 flat car with a GOOD driver. Sorry but I hate Cobalts after owning on for 2 years (06 SS\SC ) the thing was not reliable and for 25,000 you would expect more. For around the same price you could get a new mustang gt and its more HP and Tq and way more reliable..And thats proven fact...Its a legend GM is just ripping people off and they know this. And now that why im a EX chevy guy. |

Well I have spotted a few cobalts TC's at the track with only a nice tune to be able to pull off 13's everytime. A tune on top of that TC can do a bit of good. I'm sorry to hear about your Cobalt trouble. What happened to yours to make you hate them so much?
I like what you've done to your car sounds like you've got some money under the hood which would explain why you killed that SS/TC. As for me my money was tight and I found the LS to be a nice car for the price and it had good gas milage which was important cause I bought it last year just as prices started to skyrocket. As for me and Mustang's I don't believe I'll ever own a new one my father has a '68 that he has kept in great condition and it all the new ones just dont feel like a Mustang after riding/driving in that one all my life. |

I must say and admit, you sound like a good person who can understand cars and talk good car talk :) Well to start about my 06 cobalt ss/sc problems. Now let me tell you this to start. This cobalt was babied and never taking to the track, it was my DD and affraid with all the problems I had , if I did take it to the track the car would leave me stranded. well to start: (1) 3 axel replacements (clicking real bad) (2) lower control arm replacements (3) E brake never worked (4) serious clutch issues (5) Rims chipped (gun metal color) (6) Tires worn out (pzeros) after 20,000 miles (7) brakes where worn after 12,000 miles (rotor warped) (8) shifter knob kept falling off(number plate) (9) drivers door would not close most of the time (10) Starting issues (wouldnt start sometimes) (11) Thumping sound from rear (12) Leak in trunk by sub woofer (shorted out sub) (13) would pop out of 3 gear here and there Now I know I forgot a few minor things but as you can see this is the reason I hate Cobalts and who would blaim me. I know not all Cobalts have these problems but alot of them are quite common with these cars. Now I bought this car brand new with 1200 miles on it and after 12000-15000 the problems just kept happening and I did have some issue with dealership giving me a hard time covering this stuff which didnt help. I kept great maint records and when it needed maint I follow the guide lines of manual and dealership reccomends. Sorry to come on this forum sounding real hateful towards the Cobalt but if you had the problems I delt with i 2 years of owning this car you would be the same way. So I decided to not ever buy another new GM car and bought my 99 mustang gt and its been awesome and reliable even with my mods I have and do enjoy getting on it at the track and never fail me. Thanks for understanding and being pretty darn cool :) |

Thought that would shut you up.!! Dude learn about cars before you open your mouth. Just some advice Good day.. Ps .. what i really wanted to say to you punk mods deleted. but grow the hell up about mother crap pal. My mom could be dead you dont know. To mods : nice that you delete my post but you still keep this punks mother talk?? Hmmmmm |

Well man it sucks to hear of all your poblems. I have had the lower control arm replaced on my LS but the dealership covered that. The "Thumping sound from rear" might be the trunk latch it has a sensor that autochecks the latch to make sure its secure. But with the leak I don't know if yours was working properly or not. Sorry to hear about it, if I had these problems I would be pissed too.
A bunch of guys from localcobalt.net went over to a small 1/8th mile dragstrip in PA this weekend and I used a converter to figure what their 1/4 mile times would be the TC ranged anywhere from 13.3-14.5 and my little LS well lets not talk about it...so I guess with the right man behind the wheel (these guys were new to the TC) you might be able to get solid 13 runs maybe a high 12 but we will hit a 1/4 in about a month and I'll tell you what their 1/4 mile times really are. Just an FYI we had 2 stock TC's one is getting a tune before the 1/4 meet, I hope one stays stock so we can just compare. Anyway man have a good one. Everyone else leave his mother out of this, you're talking to cobaltsuck and not his mother. She has nothing to do with this conversation or these vehicles being discussed. |

Thank You for your understanding. Yeah the Cobalt was not a good car to me. But I guess for sure you could consider mine a lemon. Having the problems was enough but GM not being to helpful didnt help either so I had to get rid of the lemon before I went broke. keep in touch I would like to hear the numbers you get with the TC's at 1/4 mile tuned and untuned. Thanks youve been really cool, to bad some people on here have blinds on. Good day :) |
