I have had to have my struts replace 2x on one side and 1x on left side, anyone else having this problem? Evidently, this is not something that normally has to be done. I have not had any problems with them the last 10,000 miles, though. Trying to decide on spending $2000 on an extended warranty because of the previous strut problem.

I had same problem with the struts as well as suspension bushings. 2004 v8 AWD SRX with 26,000 miles. The front wheel boots also went. Also at 24,000 miles had to reline front brakes (2nd time) and rear (first time). Suspension making noise again. Combination city and highway driving.

i have an 04 srx. I also have had a problem with the front struts. the car bounces all over the place when i hit a bump. it had about 38,000 mile on it when i strted noticing it getting slopy

our 04 SRX has 52k miles and the struts need to be replaced. This is rediculous for very mild, city driving of a luxury car! the estimate is $2000 for parts only, excluding labor. Come on, GM -- you know this isn't normal!

All depends on the use. I have an 06 2WD and didn't have to replace the struts till 120K. And the brakes are still original. That with periodic towing of jet skis and lawn tractor.
