<quoted text>The post was in response to another post that said Toyota did not take bailout funds when in fact they did. Automakers have taken tax breaks from governments for years. That’s one of the ways a state brings in an automaker.
Interestingly, Toyota didn't take any bailout funds from the US Government.
But US automakers took bailout funds from several other governments.

(PSST: What JJFADS isn't saying often speaks louder than what he is saying--especiaally in this case)
Canada happens to be one of them.

The earlier post clearly states Toyota took funds from the “Japanese” government, this has nothing to do with US makers.

We're all fully aware of that my friend, and were fully aware right from the start.
In spite of your self rightious protestations, you know full well what your motive was in posting that original comment--basically just another opportunity to take a shot at Toyota.
That's why I got stuck in your face over the issue.
So please, spare us any further melodramatic spin on the subject.
If you choose to continue your little charade, you will simply dig yourself in deeper--and that might cause further damage to your already questionable image.

PS--It has everything to do with US Automakers BTW, and any attempt to suggest otherwise is just more hypocracy on your part.
So get used to it!

Incorrect, yet again your reading comprehension fails you. The aforementioned posted information clearly slipped and said Toyota didn’t accept any bailout funds. Unfortunately you (the mallard hen) missed that piece of the puzzle and haphazardly prematurely ejaculated on our wonderful forum about irrelevant sputter. I hope you learn one day.

Back on topic (if the Canadian Hen will allow it). Toyota is not the “largest automobile maker in the world.” In fact, GM is the largest automaker in the world and Volkswagen is the second largest.

Not that it matters, in this hostile economy the makers will continue to change production. At any rate I find it absolutely amusing that GM goes through BR and still winds up as #1, while Toyota gets trumped by VW.

It's immensely enjoyable and very satisfying for me to watch you make a complete fool of yourself as your true nature opens up.
Keep up the good work (not).
(There's got to be an award for sheer incompetence somewhere in the world!)

PSST--Your professed effort to maintain balance in these discussions isn't working.
Just to let you know.(In case you weren't aware--LOL)

Sorry, but NOWHERE have I found that GM will be #1. GM will be #3 while Toyota and VW fight it out for the #1 & #2 spots.

Nice try.

Hey JJFADS--Does this article say anything about the veracity of your numbers?
(You know---those numbers you claim don't lie?)

"Volkswagen surpasses Toyota and GM in worldwide sales, study says
Nov 7, 2009, General Motors, Toyota, Volkswagen

During recent times, the battle for the world’s biggest automaker has been a battle between the former champion, GM, which is now struggling in terms of finance, Toyota, which is holding the title for the last time frame, and Volkswagen, which catching up fast, and, according to statements made by its executives a few months ago, plans to overtake the other two companies by 2018.

But it seems that the bottles of champagne could be opened as early as the end of this year, as a new study made by the Global Insight Institute, pegs the German manufacturer’s sales for the year 2009 at around 4,4 million units, overtaking Toyota’s 4 million and GM’s “measly” 3.6, which was in turn outsold by Ford, managing 3.7 million.

While the data isn’t official yet, as the manufacturers will reveal their figures at the end of the year, it does seem quite likely, considering the many successful brands the VW Group has under its corporate umbrella.

This is the piece I referred to and so anxiously awaited you to post. Get your panties pulled up tight before they come falling down again. Are you ready? The unofficial study forgot to include GM’s JV numbers. Now, back to the original post,
General Motors: 4.56 Million
VW Group: 4.4 Million
Toyota Motor Company: 4.0 Million
Ford Motor Company: 3.7 Million

Regardless, this shall change back and forth for the next few years between GM and Volks, Toyota is done.

One more thing---don't let JJFADS get away with posting a link to "Production Schedules" and touting it as actual sales figures, when he claims that GM is No.1 in the world.

JV numbers mallard hen, JV numbers. They forgot to include JV numbers. Get your head out of the sand. Just because GM is on top again don’t get too excited. What we have are four very large companies and this irrelevant title will go back and forth for the next several years. I say kudos to VW.

Stick with me, I can teach you a lot.

Thanks for the offer, but teaching doesn't appear to be a strength in your situation.
On reading much of what you have to say here, the only thing I've really learned is that the closest you got to a 4.0 GPA in school... was probably your blood alcohol level.

Now you're not making any sense at all---is it a sign of high blood alcohol levels?
Think of your overworked liver, my friend.
