Ford: China's Geely is the preferred bidder for Volvo

Let's see, a company whose cars can't pass even a basic European crash test wants to buy the maker of the safest cars in the world?

Either Volvo is going to really help Geely (and its bad image),

or Geely is going to really ruin Volvo (and its good image).

such a good move on geely. the next couple of years we'll see inflation and booms - china will go thru the ceiling, and geely can be equipped with the brand and technology from volvo, whom will die in the hand of ford. geely should pour money into volvo's r&d, and competite with audi.
