It is actually a good thing, less money from UTEP going to ungrateful Mexicans. Not to mention you can probably walk around the campus a little easier, especially around Liberal Arts building and Business building, without having to navigate through all rude, chatty Mexicans standing in walk ways.

Really? I just got back from campus and hadn't really noticed a change in population. Do you think they are going the extra mile to hide themselves because of increased security at the border?

Sorry Chicano but the devil is right. These people always stand in the middle to talk. Go to Walmart and you will see, whole family incluiding mother inlaw (she is part of the package) stop to talk in the same middle of the aisle.

UTEP is a diploma mill and Mexicans are now aware of it, that's all. Seems like Mexicans got sick and tired of being in a school that has a 70% Mexican population.

I've been going to UTEP for a year, and I remember hanging out around Campus in the early 2000's and there does seem to be a difference. Whether it's good or bad?

This is the best news I have heard. Did you UTEP finally scrap the PASE bs program? UT Austin can have them, they're their problem now.

alot of families from juarez are sending their children outta here for college. Many are going to ut austin and the east coast like Boston and New York. THe parents are trying to save businesses or have no way to sell homes. THey feel at least the kids will be safe. More El Paso families are sending their kids out of town also. Utep will suffer in enrollment soon. It is tough to sell UTEP when car bombs are going off a few miles away from campus.

It's a good thing you only wrote "former UTEP student" and not UTEP grad...You can hardly spell correctly, much less put a proper sentence together. Or differentiate between a question or a statement. No te pudiste graduar verdad?
