Yeah that's all El Paso needs...yet another Democrat; every single elected official in El Paso is a Democrat, and we are the third poorest county in the nation. Do you see the correlation? This is happens when there is no political plurality, aside from the obvious corruption.

I don't even promote Republicans necessarily but there should at least be some other poltical parties that can counter these Democratic dinosaurs.

I truly beleive that El Paso should not vote for Democrats just because they are Democrats. In this case Pat Haggarty who was a Repub represented El Paso well enough to get re-elected over and over again. However he tried to have Craddick replaced as speaker since he (Craddick) is such a jerk - but powerful). Well Craddick made sure all the powerful and wealthy Repub backer stacked up behind Margo. So Margo is now Craddick's puppet.

Moody is a better candidate than Moody.

Now it is up to El Pasoans to hold their elected reps accountable once they are in office.

Also, every large city in Texas (Dallas, Houston, Austin, El Paso and Ft Worth) tend to vote for Democrats.

When Conservatism rules El Paso is when we flourish as a city, because we can't get any worse. I could state examples but I don't have enough space. The Left has ruled El Paso with an iron fist for decades, that's why its a dusty little town known for low wages.

Does he know Bob Jones, Frank Apodaca and Dr. Vernoy Walker, president of Physicians HEalthcare Associates, OR Brooker, all who had their hands in all sort of cookie jars in the most illegal ways to fill their pockets with governent embezzled money. They think they can get away with anything, but don't think the FBI is going to let them get away just because they are doctors with a medical liscence. They might have friends in all sorts of offices and connections, but I doubt they can find a co-conspirator in the FBI to let get away with what they have done. just a matter of time before we will be reading in the EL Paso Times who got arrested.

Repubs - conservatism will not be ruling El Paso any time in the near future. El Paso will florish in the near future because it's leaders (both dems and repubs) have finally started be better plan for it's economic growth. The Texas Tech Medical school, Medical Center of the Americas, Downtown Plan (redevelopment)and the Fort Bliss expansion will be the best things to ever happen to El Paso in the next 50 years.

Every major city in the USA tend to vote democratic, even though their surrounding suburbs may not.
