Well, another ploy to get out of the sewer they live in. They at least have a change at asylum if they can prove they are being persecuted by the government.
So far the thousands of police, journalists, elected officials, and run of the mill Mexican have been denied asylum as their persecution by the drug gangs are not valid for asylum.
Marisol Valles is still in detention in Dallas after illegally entering the US wanting asylum from the drug gangs, she was fired as police chief for being absent without leave then turned uo in the US seeking asylum.
She has been denied asylum and is appealing but likely will be denied again and then deported back to Mexico.

I read that Marisol in typicla border Mexican fashion illegally came into El Paso to deliver her child and collected welfare on that child despite her and her husband residing nad working in Mexico.
They are trying to use the US citizenship of their child as a ploy to stay in America as well. Talk about bottom feeders.
