Can you please give any info on the 6th street scene? My son was arrested while trying to diffuse a fight between his friend and a bouncer. No weapons, punches, or threats to the officers were involved. Yet they choke hold my son, beat him in the back of the head, taze his buddy, and plant "paraphanalia" onto the buddy.

Is this regular routine, or just bad luck. These young men are really harmless, just drank too much but had designated driver.

Anybody?

I seriously doubt they planted anything. Just have your son and his friend admit they were being a-holes instead of being big boys and acting like adults.

Is it routine that your kid and his buddies drink too much and fight? They should have just left the club when asked. Any violent situation is a threat to officers and nearby civilians as well. And they planted stuff in front of all the witnesses?....please. someone probably taped the incident, but doubt you'd wanna see it.

I agree with the above two posts.

If Little Johnny was out with buddies who want to drink and fight - tell him to be a man and accept the consequences of his actions.

Update, I went to the bar, asked questions, realized the bouncer incited the problem and blamed the guys. My son is home on military leave, respects authority, and avoids trouble. I know about drunk a-holes. The manager didn't want me to talk to anyone. It's apparent the lies told me were to cover up any possible assault charges due to the employee. I even took my daughter back to confront the doorman. He wouldn't admit to the trouble. I still believe the police used excessive force.
