Fire kills 1 in Bastrop County

I believe her name was lily parmer, she was shot

it was not a brush fire. it was murder.

I heard she caught the place on fire from dozing off and dropping a hot crack pipe.

I have heard alot of rumors as to what may have happened regarding the fire on ponderosa. It would be nice if the rumors and bad comments remained with the people stating these. At least until the investigation has been finished. Please think about who the body was and her family. Us whom knew her are in morning and feel badly for her family. As well as anyone else that was or was not involved.

Please for family and friends sake, do not assume it was murder. It could have very well been an accident. Noone knows for sure at this time.

Obviously you didn't know her. Otherwise you wouldn't post a comment like this. Lily had a big heart and was loved by friends and family. This is a terrible time for us right now and it would be nice if these sort of rumors were not posted as comments. Don't be a jerk.

People may THINK there is no one watching them, when they do these bad things but there is! Lily was a good person and she WILL have justice and GOD will be the JUDGE!

We are as close to friends and family as it gets, Dawn. SO I am sure you can understand that my grieving is mixed with anger.

The people who knew Lily and are friends, are very right. Lily was loved by many! The person that did this horrible thing to her is a very sick person. I knew Lily and she would come visit me regularly. We enjoyed talking with eachother. I also know the person whom did this horendous thing to her. That person had no right to do this and they should get punished for it. He has been taken in custody by the police. He needs help and am sure he regrets what he has done. It doesn't make things right, but I know he did love her at one time. Hopefully we will find out why this had to be, even though it won't change things. It will help us to possibly understand.

I know that the new baby was taken to the fathers parents. Not sure when the baby was taken there, but at least it is being cared for.
