It's the indigenous people that have been given the right to live in the past and eat the beautiful turtle and dugong and other native species...they are given the right by our government to do this barbaric and cruel thing and yet we are trying to stop the Japanese from whaling....what feckin' hypochrites....we farm cows to sustain us and sheep and chickens etc why must we eat the the native animals as well....barbarians all of them....

They seem to think it was Indigenous people but are not sure if they are the one that have the governments permission to do it....But noone should be able to kill the native fauna, there is no justification for it....and how can we tell the Japanese or the Fins what to catch and kill when we can't look after our own backyard...It makes us look like hypochrites....

You need a good bashing over the head. I'd be more than happy to do it.

Like they need you to give them any Ideas, I think that is the plan already?
I don't think they will get too many customers though...do you?

Yep, there were confirmed reports a few years ago of a sea turtle that was transported on its back for hours with numerous wounds. Some Kooris confirmed this and their disgust at the incidence. No charges were laid-race card played.
Dugongs being hunted en masse via rifle and motor boat-NON TRADITIONAL. Stored in freezers.
I don't give a rat's arse for tradition anway if it upholds primitive cruelty that is not acceptable in modern civility.
Mind you, circumcision at age 12 is another quaint spiritual tradition. Get a heap of whities restrain a twelve year old boy and do that and their lilly white arses would be in gaol.

It would be nice if the real Australians didn't have to endure those savage aborigines.

The real ''Australians'' should go back to Europe where they really belong anyway. No Koories living there or so I've heard.
