I agree, giving in to paying only gives them a better excuse to come after you for more the next year. Only problem with the philosophy is no country around the world will ever play games with tax revenue streams. I really think he should consider firing the idiot attorney and PR agent who thought up the idea for something interesting. Lot's of people get the idea you can play games with taxes, sure you might get a discount, using a cheesy accountant and attorny, but no one I know of ever wins. May he meet and be on the right side of the relationship with Bubba boy, if the PR stunt doesn't work.
