My uncle was working in the mount isa mines Australia and fell down a shaft and was badly hurt and was in mount isa hospital for about 3 weeks and then a doctor visiting the hospital asked a nurse who is that and she said that that is a man who fell down a shaft in the mines and we are just waiting for him to die so the doctor asked the nurse to tell someone to remove the seats in his plain and to prepare for a stretcher . the doctor mover my uncle for there to Brisbane and too this day thanks to the doctor visiting mount isa hospital my uncle is still alive . the was photos taken of him when got out of hospital my mother seen to remember newspaper clipping arriving via post talking about the iron Scott walks again it was in the late 1950s could you help me find more info regarding the papers and that time the photos showed my uncle with his brother walking after he lost the leg, and another photo of him and his brother sitting drinking tea
