Other than the United States or Australia, where else would a story like this make news?

It's good news, though. And this heartwarming story fills the gap between the horrible murders, healthcare reform and the bailout that is happening in the news. It touched me that this gal got her beloved pet back.

We need more positive, uplifting stories like this one. Why is it only news if there's blood involved?

I'm guessing for the young woman who got her beloved pet back that no, nothing more important in the world happened that day.

Maybe we should put you in the Australian outback and see how you fare.

Well it's a Tasmanian Cat, intelligent, resourceful and we all enjoy a holiday don't we. But it's always good to get back home to paradise.

Well, the cat couldn't stray for 2,400 miles in the UK or NZ unless it was wandering around in circles.

Hey, at least it's better than the media dribbling over irrelevant celebrity trends, like adopting African babies or stories about the latest spoilt actor/singer making hajj to rehab. Boring!

I guess it makes a good story, but I don't see the mystery angle. I think it's pretty clear that someone picked up the cat and kept it on their boat, and then dumped it (or it escaped from the boat at the dock) when they returned to Austrailia. It could have been picked up, thereafter, by someone in a caravan, or kept by a trucker. People think nothing about taking in roaming cats... which is one of the many, many reasons cats should be kept indoors.

It would be easy for the cat to get to Europe and wander around for ever. New Zealand would be more difficult but not impossible.

Yep there is something more important than this like arresting the paedophile Pope that lives in the Vatican but the only way to arrest the paedophile is by declaring war to the USA country, because the USA is using their own Nuclear Weapons of Mass Destruction to protect the paedophile Pope. The USA is like the driver of the get away car that drives away the Bank Robber to avoid getting shot and arrested by the Police.
I might stick with the travelling cat story, thanks.

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Pisces

The last thing you want to do is to picking over every little thing. Instead, you have one eye permanently on the clock and you're trying to cram as many activities into the day as possible. This will be good fun and you'll enjoy keeping up the momentum, but beware of a possible tendency to become reckless or to try to cut corners in order to save time, because this will be self-defeating in the long run.
