You may not realise it but two of your stories are related.
Steve Irwin's 176 Year old tortoise (Darwin's tortoise) died recently .Today 'The Crocodile Hunter' died, after a stingray accident. He was a great Australian icon and will be sadly missed. If you want to support his work, take a holiday in Australia and visit his 'Australia Zoo' He put all his money into the environment, buying land, promoting the most unpopular animals on earth. You may ask "What can one person do to help the environment"? Steve Irwin never did!

My heart goes out to Terri and the kids! It must be such a grievous shock to the family. It was almost as if fate stepped in with such a freakish death and took him from this world and all of his family and fans.

what a unbelievable shock. i am very sad to hear about this. i love the crocodile hunter show :( i feel so bad for terri.they were so in love. i remember that picture they show that was taken the first minute they met.they went together so well :[ steve irwin must of been the best, most cool dad. his kids will know that he was a great dad from terri, from all of the tv shows he has been on, from all of the people around the world he has touched and the work he has done to help animals. i will really miss him. i havent had a celebrity death effect me so much since kurt cobain and river phoenix.

Steve is a legend.
This was a shock I did not see coming.
I hope his wife, his family, his friends, may find peace. I hope he's in a place i loves, with his turtoise.
There will never be, a crocodile hunter like Steve Irwin.

steve, god bless you you were a very brave man. but you did wat you loved. that is what matters and i'am sure if you had a choice when and how to die. it for sure would have been doing what you love. you will be missed my regards to your family and friends rest in peace.
