Does anyone know what the humidity levels are like in Brisbane. I heard that during the Summer months it can reach 100%, is this true and if so, for how long does it stay at that level. I am looking to move to Brisbane but suffer from asthma so I'd like to know just how uncomfortable it's going to be for me. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.

I used to get Asthma bad around Sydney but Brisbane is great, depends what your triggers are. Remember that when your asthma is bad you can take a hot shower to open your lungs up. Brisbane's humidity can do just that naturally.

Humidity levels in Brizzy are pretty crazy.. It's 86 at the moment (but it feels chilly, lol)

A typical day though, humidity reaches 90-100% by 9am, then drops during the day to, say, 70-80% by 3pm.. Really depends on how hot it gets.

Brisbane's great! Your first summer will probably be the worst (it was for me when I moved here), but you really do get used to it.. The people are great, beaches rock, life is cruisy and you'll end up loving it here!:-)

All the best Taryn!

Being asthmatic myself I find Brisbane humidity a god send for it. I cannot breath in dry weather. But soon as its humid, i can breath almost perfect.

Daily Horoscope for January 6

Libra

Don't hold anything in, especially an emotional burden. The only way to drown the past is to open the floodgates. If you've got something to say, come right out and say it. The only people who might be offended by your honesty don't really matter in the grand scheme of things anyway, Libra. Great changes flow smoothly through your day. When you take charge, everyone feels at home.
