Well so closes a dark chapter in Australia history.

Of course the only evidence we have is Lindy Chamberlain's testimony that she saw a outline of a dog? take her baby. So we are still left with the possibility
a) a feral dog took her baby
b) a domesticated dog/dingo took her baby
c) point b) and the baby was abducted for adoption.
d) Lindy lied about the whole thing

I found the judge categorically saying "a dingo took her baby" without proper evidence. They have never found Azaria Chamerlain's remains.

Maybe Julian Assange took her baby, after all he has history in Sweden.

Saw Lindy give live interview on BBC America this morning. Really pissed off. Don't blame her.

What happen to her was like 17th Century Salem witch trials. Not burned at stake but crucified in OZ press.

She was bogan. Whitie not from Sydney or Melbourne. Therefore she was suspect from start. Jailed for 3 years killing her child.

Today I saw bitter woman on TV. She wants a life rewind but not possible.

Vindicated after 30 years of persecution. Hollow victory if you ask me.

Exactly, as if losing your child wasn't enough. Lindy also lost her good name that day and will always have idiots snicker when she enters a room.

The media is s circus and they don't care who they stick on the tight-rope for a few oohs and aahs.

Bullshit all the evidence was there from the start, dog tracks, dog hair and testimony from everyone there meant she couldn't have done it. All the indigenous knew and that's probably the reason they were left out of the search and moved away by the assistant ranger, who owned the dogs causing trouble at the site. Then we have the head rangers report which stated before the disappearance that the rogue dogs were stealing and harassing people.

Then we have the found jump suit, which police denied existed until it was found and the forensics supported her claims.

Only ideological morons would have the ignorant fear and superstition to deny the facts and create a moronic witch hunt as they did and still maintain today.

There are no other logical or rational explanations, unless you're a deranged ideologist wit no logical deduction ability.

I agree - terrible, strange and random things do happen, but the media and a great percentage of the public were just too happy to blame Lindy Chamberlain - I am glad for her that now her name has been finally cleared.

The found canine saliva and hair, along with a child's blood on the jump suit. The dogs would have easily consumed the soft small bones of a baby and left nothing, it has been the only logical explaination there could possibly be.

Why would a family travel to the center of Aus just to kill their kid, plus neither lindy or Micheal were out of the sight of others. They had no chance to get rid of a body, or even hide one as it was dark and they would have been noticed. The ranger arrived pretty quick as did lots of people and the cops not the long after the alarm was raised, form the time the baby went until days later, the chamberlains were under constant surveillance so would have had no opportunity to dispose of a body and their car was checked on the night and in the morning.

You've gotta be completely programmed and without any form of analytic intelligence to see there are no other reasonable or factual options.
