Australians making odd choices for funeral songs
Hymns are being replaced at funerals in one Australian city by popular rock classics like Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven" and AC/DC's "Highway to Hell," a cemetery manager said Wednesday.

I think the unconventional choices are rather clever. The top 10, however, sounds a lot like the playlist of a "it don't gotta be good to be classic" station.

I know a fellow from "Down Under" that I try to see each year. His name is Peter Nolan and a wonderful mate he is. we also meet up with five very crazy Brits. The irreverence of these people is phenomenal. They, like us, were the rubbish from the mother country. The Brits still refer to them as convicts and just as we are referred to as Colonials. Both the Aussie and Brits have a slang language that is much more varied and colorful that ours. One does have to wonder about our slang being tepid and boring. Even the cussing has turned into a joke.
