That lying little snake, shirley franklin, has not fixed the potholes or the water system in Atlanta. If this is the way that Democrats keep their promises then we're all in trouble. Not only have the Democrats in Congress failed to live up to their "first one hundred days" promise they have taken the national economy down by giant steps. Whether local or national the Democrats have little to offer except empty promises and corruption and ineptitude.

You are totally right. The democrats in congress are too interested in investigations on nothing than helping this country. I've never been as frustrated with our political system in 50 years as I am right now.

The GOP party confirms what you're really sick of is Bush.

Remember your new slogan. "The Change That America Deserves"

You folks on the right are too concerned with making sure Iraq has good roads.

If Obama was in Office, and suggested the liberation of Shia Muslims in Iraq, including Al-Sadr and his Militia, you folks would haven't been so gung-ho to liberate Muslims.

The good thing about having a Dem in office is that you folks on the right will actually THINK about the issues, instead of rubber stamping every thing the President says.

I've never been so frustrated with a President than I've been with Bush.

Nation-building, excessive spending, big government....Somehow, this cabal of politicians fooled you into thinking they were conservative, with conservative political values.

It's been downhill ever since the Democrats took control of Congress in the 2006 elections. They're already passing expensive social programs that will undoubtedly increase taxes on working people.
Next, the military budget will get cut and make us vulnerable to foreign attack. The Democrats will take us into another war on the basis that we were attacked (ala LBJ).
Congress just last month voted to stop filling the Strategic Oil Reserves that had taken George Bush 7 years to refill after Bill Clinton foolishly sold off the Oil Reserves while oil was at historic low prices. The Democrats publicly lobby for increased taxes on oil companies then immediately stop refilling the Oil Reserves which is: An existing tax on oil companies since oil companies are the ones required to give the oil to the government's Strategic Oil Reserves as a fee for government oil drilling permits.
Our country is in big trouble and the Democrats are already using their voter mandate to tax and spend and get stupid as only Democrats can.

The only goal of the democrats is to get elected. Just today the obama campaign announced that it was assigning people to "protect" michelle obama from political attacks. The real reason is to keep her from speaking her mind and exposing the racism and socialism in her heart and in the obama campaign.

Is this yet another thread about how big fat disgusting filthy stinking female apes can make their rear-ends yet bigger to distract from their ugly nappy heads?
I thought so. Typical for Apelanta.

How dare you criticize the mayor of Atlanta. She has enough trouble explaining how she got the city neck deep in debt and why her daughter and her son-in-law and her husband are in prison for crimes in Atlanta. Now you force her to explain why her big butt has grown so much while in office. Her next step will be to trade in her city limo for a garbage truck to carry her cow sized butt around.

When is shirley going to fulfill her promise to fix Atlanta's potholes?

Wow, shocking to read how much hate and ignorance spews from both 'sides'. As an American who lives abroad, I find it depressing and sad how so many citizens manage to put on such narrow blinders and content themselves with name calling and insults instead of hard facts or any apparent willingness to seek solutions, peace and compromise. It's no wonder the presidents and elected officials disappoint... look (in the mirror) at the people who elected them. A democracy is not a God given right, one can see that by looking around the world. Our society is a gift, having a voice is a privilege, it would be in all of our best interest to use it for good instead of hate. Posting negative, dead-end, comments does nothing to help resolve existing problems. We're all in this boat together.
