A forged ID card supplied to the US Department of Justice by the Russian KGB was used in the Israel trial against Demjanjuk. This is one of the reasons Demjanjuk was acquitted by the Israeli Supreme Court--the ID card was deemed a forgery.

The German prosecutors may be using the same forged ID card--or yet another forgery.

It is unbelievable that Walther, the German investigator, now claims he does not know how the US Department of Justice got the so-called "ID card."
