"A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" sounds like the setup for a thigh-slapping old joke rather than the title of a Broadway comedy.
Left at intermission. The leads' acting abilities were non-existent with potentially funny lines tossed away by their flat deliveries. The women who were paraded out to entice Pseudolus looked and danced more like awkward 3rd graders. The production was boring, amateurish, badly cast and devoid of laughs.
