we attended the concert and it was pretty good but you were correct, there were more people on stage then there were in the seats. they must have lost their rears on this one financially. come on van wert we need to support the npac or it will not be here long!

i just think van wert people are not willing to try new things and maybe listen to music they have not heard in the past. i do agree that attendance seemed to be down across the board in 2012 so hoping to see better support this year!!

the npac only books current performers like the lennon sisters who appeals to all ages, after all they just recently made their initial TV appearance on the lawrence welk show in 1955 FINE'

Maybe you can figure out how to get it done. Please remember though, it's not tax supported and must be financially self sustaining.

can't really blame the folks who pick the shows, they are picking what they know and are familiar with. they are old so they book performers from their past as we all would. it just sucks if you are under 30!

Every year there are a handful of rock bands that do free parking lot shows. Free. I'm sure those businesses aren't paying above what the NPAC could. Look at the county fairs and even little festivals. Some of them book acts that "we can't get". I call bs. Call them up Einstein. You can talk with them and get a price just as easily as the PAC. If they won't talk to you, they won't talk to the PAC either.

This may surprise some folks but I saw a news story that said only about 20 percent of the immediate Van Wert area makes up the audience at non school events. The rest, 60 to 80 percent come from Lima, Mercer County, Defiance and the Ft Wayne area. So I looked at some license plates in the lot at 2 of their shows last year. Damn straight. That's what it looked like to me.

and while we are on the subject let me point out that larry gatlin just had a top ten hit in 1988 and tony orlando was just recently in the top ten in 1975 so do not say the pac does not book current acts ok
