Born on August 18th 1952 to Patsy Swayze a dance choreographer, and to his father Jesse Swayze a chemical plant engineer in Houston Texas who died due to a heart attack in 1982.

my mother was a big fan and was deeply saddened by the news of his death. He will be remembered for his incredible dancing in Dirty Dancing. God rest his soul.
