A thief who swiped a Salvador Dali painting off the wall of a New York art gallery may have escaped, but experts say the painting will likely be recovered when it comes back onto the art market.

Wouldn't mind this one ending up in an art hoarders basement, I guess it's less of a loss to the public than some are. Why do people feel they have to own famous art, it's not theirs, it never will be, it will always only belong to the artist. Money over art, I guess.
