unnecessary Article.

The best part is they initially play praise & raise the superstar to some height for the ultimate low blow at the end. Nice defaming job. Wonder why they'll do this to someone that been out from the industry for long time.....and acting in movies that the called "B" grade? Are they still wary of him? |
they want him to be remembered as a WRONG PERSON-drunkard, chamchagiri, divorcee, failure, fluke success etc..So the keep filing the net space with rubbish.
But why? |

Friends: Please go through the comments linked with the article itself; there are number of excellent comments in support of Kakaji as well in the name of Sarvesh Ch. Pandey and some other fellows.

Original fans of Original Superstar by Sarvesh Pandey on Nov 05, 2009 11:01 AM | Hide replies It is excellent to learn through the comments of several original fans of Kakaji that still OLD IS GOLD AND GENUINE TALENT CAN NOT BE SUPPRESSED BY MEDIA MANIPULATION. REDIFF. SHOULD LEARN THROUGH THIS. Forward | Report abuse Kaka is a a Living Legend by NEVILLE GANDHI on Nov 05, 2009 09:41 AM | Hide replies This article is biased and does not mention much about the achievements of the great actor and the first Superstar of Hindi Film Industry. Rajesh Khanna has given Mega Memorable Hit Films like Anand, Aradhana, Amar Prem, Kati Patang, Dushman etc. to name a few. Rajesh Khanna performs excellently in most of his movies putting life in the character he plays. Mostly negative news is given about Kaka in the media. Rajest Khanna is still active in Films, Politics and Social Service. The Media should convey positive news about personalities for their contribution. |

It is excellent to learn that besides this Rajesh Khanna Forum there are lot of genuine fans of kakaji in other sites also who have the guts to stand for his support for the sake of truth and to protest against media misguidance about him.
Could this be a troll by media to test Kaka's popularity? Puzzling, it is... |

Sarvesh Pandey sounded like you Abhijit. I say this first before MEE and Indo blow horns |

Yeh manohar aur alok ko dekha jaga jaga post karne. ter khwab khwab i rahe jaega. |

Abey Suar Matarchod-- Go and watch the link and read all the comments; there is not a single member of this forum; all are different fellow. We, the forum members never post in others name unlike you Suar Ka Aulad. |
There are other comments of some other persons; who wrote in the same tune; but none of them is Abhijit. Because of this I have used the word genuine fans of genuine superstar. Moreover, I have tried to post there but without any rediff ID seems there is no entry of outsiders. My comments were unpublished without any reason. |

It is OK to use other names in another forum.... but please come and tell us forum members who is who then. ....but putting various names in this forum alone is unethical. |
Sorry; unable to understand your intention. Pl. clarify.. Thanks, |

I agree with you Radzi bhai.... There is another comment by another poster.... "pity urself not him by a on Nov 04, 2009 12:48 PM | Hide replies You bunch of ordinary anonymous mortal and the pen-pushing poverty-stricken journos need not worry. He is among the highest tax payers in India earning around 100 crores a year. So is his son in law. He is one of the most fortunate human beings. As for embarrassing us,how many of us do jobs that dont embarrass our abilities. bollywood is anyway an embarrassment, but it suits fools like us" This also sounds familiar to me.....what say Radzibhai? |

My quick compilation of classic movies(timeless story, great acting, and immortal songs), listing max 3 movies per actor gives me the following list.(In alphabetical Order)
Amitabh: Abiman, Deewar (songs-weak), and Don Amol : Golmaal, Chitchor and Rajnigandha Anil : Lamhe, Parinda, 1942- A Love Story Bharat : Baiju Bawra, Barsaat Ki EK Raat Dev : Guide, Jewel Thief, Hare Rama Hare Krishna Dharam : Anupama, Mera Gaon Mera Desh, Dilip : Mughal-E-Azam, Naya Daur, Azad Kaka : Aradhana, Anand, Amar Prem Pradeep: Anarkali, Taj Mahal Raj : Shri 420, Awara, Anari Raj : Pakeezah Sanjeev : Anubhav, Aandhi, Mausam Sunil : Gumraah, Hamraaz How does one classify Multi-Starrers? For Example: Who should I attribute Waqt to Sunil or Raj? What about Sholay? I have taken the easy way out and not attribute it to any one actor. These movies are great precisely because they are greater than the collection of its individual performances. A cursory glance at the list - Kaka has a portfolio of classic movies that a dilip or a sanjeev would gladly trade for. Would film makers be comfortable remaking Anand, Amar Prem and Aradhana? How about songs? Would you dare to remake songs from Anand, Amr Prem and Aradhana? A Classic is 4ever. |
Surprisingly you forgot to mention 2 films with respective actors Mother India Sholay |
Indo, It depends on personal choice and preference also. Many movies like Koshish, Seema, Do beegha jameen, Bandini , Safar, Khamoshi, Abhiman etc etc may also find place in this list. |

I would put it this way - normally everyone reaches his or her peak, then subsequently other performances are compared to the peak. Post peaking other performances appear pale - say Sehwag's triple century, not ever time he hits a triple century and his next performances are nowhere near this. You peak once or twice again but always fall below expectations.
As an actor, it took Dilip Kumar say 12 years to do Naya Daur, he repeated it in Mughal e Azam and then again in Ram aur Shyam but could never reach the same performance level. Dev Anand took a lot of time to prove his mettle as an actor only in early 1960s- Kala Bazaar, Kala Pani and Guide he peaked, it has been never repeated. But Rajesh Khanna and Raj Kapoor, they peaked very early. Rajesh Khanna gave peak performances in the first 5 years of his career- Itefaq, Dushmun, Anand, Amar Prem, Aradhana, Safar, Bawarchi, Sacchha Jhoota and the other performances looked pale in comparison with these classics. Raj Kapoor peaked earl with Awaara and Shree 420 and other performances looked insignificant after that. The others mentioned in the list by Dev Anand fan - Sunil Dutt, Raj Kumar, Sanjeev Kumar, Bharat Bhushan, Pradeep Kumar, Dharamendra, Amol Palekar, Anil kapoor were not superstars. Some were good actors- Sanjeev, Anil, Amol. Some were body builders, handsome men- Dharamendra. Some were dialougue masters- Sunil Dutt and Raj Kumar and some were also ran - Bharat Bhushan, Pradeep Kumar and others. |
