As a 30 year old man, this coaster was part of my child hood as it was the first "upside" coaster I ever went on. Sad to see it leaving.

I used to go there during my teen years, and I met an ex-boyfriend at that ride since he as a ride operator. I still think of those days there when I used to have my season passes. It just isn't the same anymore.

It isnt the same... to many buses fulled with idiots from NY/NJ... Dorney tries so hard to keep it a family enviroment but the unruley kids are out of control.

It's not the same area, not the same city, not the same park and not the same safe evening out with your family. We were there the other week and there were just packs of idiot, inconsiderate juveneiles just running the place. Jumping in line, cursing in front of kids, etc.

I remember my parents taking us there as a kid....

This coaster has lived its life well. Time for a new coaster at the same spot. I recommend a hydraulic or magnetic launch mega coaster!

Try driving down Hamilton Blvd past Dorney any day between 9 am and 11 am, and again from about 9 pm and 11 pm. It is hell. Do those people drive like that in NY or NJ? Is there something about a "LEFT TURN ONLY" lane that is confusing to them? How about a ONE WAY STREET? Or is the excitement of seeing your 12 kids and their 43 friends pack into your minivan and then ride a rollercoaster that is just too much to handle while you're trying to find the entrance of the park? I can't even drive on that road without being overrun by those idiots, and they are literally ALL from New York and New Jersey. Geez, just stay at Six Flags and let us have Dorney. Please!

I haven't thought of those seals in years! I had forgotten about that. My parents took us when we were kids, and it was so much fun. I stopped buying season passes a few years ago; I just can't take the crowds and poor behavior.

Our family only goes there one time a year, only because the March of Dimes gives us free tickets from the annual walk. If we didn't have the free tickets, we wouldn't go at all. When you go to real parks like Kings Dominion, Carowinds (ones you can fit Dorney inside a couple of times), Dorney just doesn't satisfy.

Do Dorney? No, Doo-Doo Dorney. That's a more appropriate slogan. The $ hit that now comes into the park leaves one with a disagreeable taste to never return.

Noooooooo! That was my first coaster ever... and they used to blast Laser 104.1 before it became B104. My friends and I would go on that thing so many times it was probably unhealthy.

It's actually really easy to not spend any money there, and the rides aren't all that bad. I'm glad Dorney is our local park and not Six Flags, I'd rather be able to walk on some nice rides instead of having to wait at least a half an hour for them. I mean, yeah, Cedar Fair has sucked some of the familyness out of it, but it still isn't super packed everyday,

Family environmnet! It's too many trailer park trash families and inner city kids from Allentown and surrounding area.

I have an excuse to not do Dorney. My kids, who I once took there are grown and I find the manners of the customers at my last time there to be equally as bad as those at Great Adventure, another place infested by crude inner city neanderthals* from the east.

Queing up to wait for ones turn in a line? Foreign concept to them...

* my apologies to true neanderthals everywhere...

The TV commercials for Dorney Park are false advertising. The park is nothing like that in person.
