The most strikingly beautiful woman I've seen in the last 20 years
has to be an expectant Mom, probably in her 9th month, who was shopping, along with her Goliath of a husband, at the Academy NE Walmart, March 15, 2011, at or about 3:05 p.m.

She bore her obvious discomfort with grace and stoicism and exhibited great patience with her apparently clueless husband. She is a natural red-head, with long, straight hair, and the kind of flashing eyes, light-color eyes (I didn't get THAT close!) for which Athena and Scythian warrior-women were renowned. Not one ounce of makeup on this natural beauty, whose skin was so strikingly pink in color it approached a lavender hue and accentuated her angel-like face. She stands 5' 2" in her shoes, and the little black maternity dress she wore contrasted magnificently with her skin tone. She has the build of a Northern European farm girl: Strong, well-toned and formed, arms, back, thighs and legs, which are exceedingly female nonetheless. I hope and pray first that her giant of a husband will realize the treasure the Gods have given him in her; that he will treat her with way more devotion, attentiveness and consideration than he seemed to be showing that day; that they will have a child as strong and beautiful as the Mother, and who will inherit some of the height, if a girl, from the Mother, and all of the height, if a boy, from the Father; that they have a relatively easy time with their finances and with their child-rearing; and that they will continue to love each other and remain together for the rest of their days. There's an old European saying that states that "A Woman Truly Loved Is A Religion". I wish I could have met someone like her and been her High Priest! Sigh! "Some Guys Have All The Luck!" -Robert Palmer, singer/songwriter.

You don't get out much, do you, Barefoot Joe? Put some shoes on a little more often. There's a whole, wide world out there to explore. Like the old proverb goes, put the lady down because you've been carrying her all this time. Be careful, there's something 'stalker-ish' about your ode. Try a halfway house. They try to integrate former prisoners back into society.

Ah, the song of the bitter, alcoholic crone, jaded by all those kicks to the curb, and undoubtedly eviction notices. Put down that cheap wine with the funny name and follow your own advice. Your problem is that no one has ever paid you a compliment, much less bothered to put something in writing. Beauty is a subjective thing, but ugliness of the heart oozes out from under even the prettiest of skins.
As impossible as it is for you to, have a nice day.
Fifty comes around mighty fast.

Amy, Amy, Amy, don't you know better than to feed the trolls. They're like monkeys at the zoo throwing their own doo trying to get attention, or those low-lifes who key your brand new shiny car because they can't afford one. Pearls before swine get trampled every time.

You don't know the half of it. Underneath this smooth exterior beats the black heart of the devil. But, au contraire, my days & nights are fun-packed as I get my fill of hedonistic pleasure here on earth. You are right about one thing -beauty IS subjective. As I don't frequent Walmarts, I guess I'll be missing out on his big-boned, corn-fed, pasty-faced red-headed stepchild vision in beauty.

Oh my goodness! As I read your description, I teared up. That is darned near the most beautiful thing I've ever read! I hope what you've hoped for comes true! Thank you Barefoot Joe!

Indeed! No need to break out the shoe camera for upskirt shots as he seems to have a photographic memory. It'll come in handy when he's fantasizing about her tonite.

The way you described what you felt as you admired this beautiful pregnant woman just goes to show there are still real gentlemen out there. Your view of this woman was very beautiful and touching.

Ah, Memnoch, aka Deidre, aka Purple Gurl, etc., etc.
The sobriquets you choose are very telling and fit quite well with your profile.

Deidre- from the Irish Gaelic Deirdre meaning a sorrowful, rootless, wandering person. An unhappy soul. I must confess I had no idea what a Memnoch could be. I did flash on the mythical King of the Bronze Age Ethiopians, Memnon, who was said to have a heart even blacker than the color of his skin. I also thought of the old first millennium French Provincial phrase, Meme Noch, same night- and wondered if it had chosen that for the practice of sleeping a night the same night she went out with him, in a desperate attempt to hold on to him, or because it gets dumped the same night the date took place in. So being overwhelmed by the many possibilities, I turned to good old Google to help me.

And there it was! Memnoch is apparently some fictional vampire in a number of popular trashy novels. What greater tell could there be? A vampire, a blood-sucker, an evil human parasite who will not stand the light of day and eventually kills the soul of everyone it comes into contact with? lol. The use of the word "hedonist" by it is also a tell, but I think it speaks out of turn.
Hedonist is a person who believes the greatest good in life is giving and receiving pleasure and avoiding feeling or inflicting pain. The second part is clearly not consistent with trolls.

What I think our resident troll means is HEADONIST, which is a trollish contraction of the words Head and Onanist. You see, many decades of rejection, use and abandonment, etc. have made the troll extremely self reliant. It has developed amazing powers of flexibility. So much so, she can actually go down on herself in order to give herself pleasure. Thus Head + Onanist= Headonist.
All that sucking and biting over a period of decades have naturally ruptured a few capillaries here and there and given the region in question a purplish appearance- leading to the Purple Gurl sobriquet. Of course, the troll's willingness to eat itself during menstruation has made it feel very much vampire-like, and thus the choosing of Memnoch which like all vampires feeds on blood.

One can also see why there would be such antagonism towards a glowing, expectant lady full of joy and carrying life within her. Vampires symbolize everything sorrowful, sinful, dark and unholy-the exact opposite of what a Mother to be represents- Hope, Faith, Love, Light in the form of a new life brought into this world.

Thanks for the kind words all. In honor of spring, and the one that got away.

"As it is, these remain: Faith, Hope and Love; the three of them; and the greatest of them is Love".ICorinthians13:13. "The heart has reasons that reason does not understand" Jacques Benigne Bossuet (1627-1704)

"Nothing is less in our power than the heart. Far from commanding it, we are forced to obey it"

I hope she put a lot of thought into getting pregnant, and that she has the emotional maturity and economic fundamentals in place to give this kid a chance.

Unfortunately, the odds aren't great in that regard. So many conceptions, and so little real forethought.

Maybe it's always been that way. Who among us can be sure we weren't an accident?

It's been said many times before, but people need training and insurance and a license to drive a car, but none of those things to have a baby.

Is it any wonder the world is so screwed up? And that there's no indication we're going to be able to get people to be more careful about bringing a child into this world?

Good thing it's so much easier to blame Obama for everything. I don't know what we'd do without that saving grace, do you?

You raise very good points. I was also thinking after remember the husband's height that I hope she has an easy time during childbirth. My Father was over 6' tall and my Mom 5' 2", like Momma Ms. America 4H Club. I was 10 lbs. 12 oz. and 23 1/2 " long, but my Mom swore she did not have a hard time at all. My Mom always downplayed personal pain and hardship. Looking at Momma Ms. America 4H Club's mid-section, I think she is expecting either multiple babies or one VERY LARGE baby! God help her in her labor and may it be over quick and not unduly painful!

You are quite right, Memnoch! I guess what lingered in my mind was that Ann Rice was the author of the Vampire series of novels where Memnoch made his debut. Thank you.

Hey you! I was visiting your neck of the woods earlier. So, what's up with Starry and her new persona? I haven't visited since, forever, so I'm kinda out of the loop. Miss you, by the way! Come to think of it, I miss Kat too!

Who is Kat? You know what's really funny? At the same Walmart, on Monday, 03/21/2011, at 10:05 am, there was this succulent young thing, who by the way she was dressed may have been an exotic dancer. She had brown hair, and was wearing an extremely short plaid skirt and platform shoes. God bless that young girl- she was probably 19-21 years old. What a set of legs and thighs on her, and when she bent over in the frozen foods section and got I got a good look at her twin juicies a part of me became very, very happy. Thank Heaven, for little girls.....
