My niece went missing during that time frame. We feel she is one of the girls buried on that Mesa. She is/was a wonderful person who unfortunately got hooked on drugs and may have eventually turned to prostitution to feed her addiction. If she is one of those girls out there on the mesa...I want you all to know that her life had value. She was loved and the person responsible for this should be found and punished. There was never any media coverage for the disappearance of the large number of girls that went missing since 2001. The first I saw was a short newspaper article in 2007 that finally showed pictures and gave names of the girls. That was the first I learned that there were so many and with the same background. This should be a lesson learned that more resources should go into finding out what happens to missing persons so that this will not happen again.
